APS Off-Peak Holidays and Who doesn’t love a good holiday,
Who doesn’t love a good holiday, am I right? Well, now you have one more reason to love them – lower electricity rates! APS offers lower rates during weekends and holidays when energy demand is typically lower. So not only can you relax and enjoy your day off, but you can also save money on your electricity bill.
But wait, there’s more! Not only do off-peak holiday rates save you money, but they also encourage you to be more energy efficient. It’s like a game – how low can you get your energy usage during off-peak times? You can try doing your laundry or running your dishwasher during these times to take advantage of the lower rates. And who doesn’t love a good game?
- *Off-Peak Holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Cesar Chavez Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. (If these holidays fall on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will be off-peak. If they fall on a Sunday, the following Monday will be off-peak.) Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are off-peak holidays only when they fall on a weekday. (Weekends are always off-peak.)
So there you have it folks, APS’s off-peak holiday rates are a win-win situation. You can save money, and even create some fun memories with your family and friends. So next time you’re planning a holiday, be sure to see how much you could save.
